Tuk Tuk, Edinburgh’s bold and vibrant Indian street food restaurant is launching its second site in Glasgow at the start of January. Following the success of its Edinburgh, Tollcross restaurant, Tuk Tuk will bring its unique brand of Indian street food to Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street. Named after the three- wheeled rickshaws of Asia, Tuk Tuk will set Glasgow city centre alight with the colours, sounds and smells reminiscent of modern India.
An all day dining experience Tuk Tuk will be serving up authentic Indian tiffin lunch boxes during the day and into the evening, with the bustle of Bollywood style with the concept of sharing dishes will be the order of the day.

Glasgow has it’s own slice of the Med in the heart of the city with the opening of Halloumi on 161 Hope Street.
Promising big flavours, tapas-style, this is Greek food like you’ve not eaten before. Brought to you by the team behind popular Finnieston eatery Rioja, ‘Halloumi’ will be offering Glasgow foodies its first taste of Modern Greek cuisine, fresh from the culinary revolution in Athens and straight onto small plates in the heart of the city.
Led by head chef Andreas Christoforou, the menu offers a selection of contemporary Greek dishes with delicately marinated, skewered meats and poultry and fresh Scottish seafood taking centre stage on the menu. Expect mouthwatering souvlaki, and vegetable Dolmades, a traditional Hellenic dish served in fresh vine leaves
