In an unprecedented move for the travel industry, The Standard becomes the first hotel company to empower its guests to eliminate traditional check in and check out times across all of its properties.
Following the success of its last minute, on demand booking application One Night Standard, Standard International is today launching Standard Time. The new offering carries on the company’s long tradition of rewriting the rules of hospitality.
“Check in at 3 PM and check out at noon is an anachronism. It does not reflect how people live. It never has. And that has never been more apparent than in today’s on-demand world,” said Amar Lalvani, Managing Partner of Standard International.
The Standard understands the frustration caused by arriving on a red eye and not being able to shower before a meeting. Waking up early to pack and check out when you have all day to enjoy the city. And the ultimate tease – not being able to take that last dip at the pool at The Standard Spa in Miami because your bathing suit is in your suitcase. Those frustrations end now.
