Following on from the success of the first two Max Brown hotels in Amsterdam the young Dutch brand is opening two hotels in Germany. First on the list is 65-room Max Brown Midtown in Düsseldorf, ready to take the city’s heart by storm. Further East, the Berlin team is getting ready to pop the corks as well.
“With our first two hotels in Amsterdam, we have led the way: urban lifestyle, fresh design, a prime location, and a wholehearted and dedicated team can come at an affordable price”, says Liran Wizman, Founder and Owner of Europe Hotels Private Collection (EHPC). “With Max Brown we created a young and playful brand without making any compromises on comfort or service. We are excited to bring this concept to Germany.”
Max Brown Hotels are social meeting spaces for lovers and explorers of the local life who are looking for an authentic city experience. Catering to the urban travelers’ essential needs, breakfast and Wi-Fi are always on the house. Instead of an in-room mini-bar, guests are invited to the Max Brown social spaces to either enjoy drinks and snacks at the bar or to fill up the Max Brown brown bags with guilty pleasures for a movie night in bed. Going out?
Both the rooms at Max Brown Midtown and Max Brown Ku’Damm are designed by Amsterdam-based designer Saar Zafrir, who transformed them into simple, yet cosy spaces, with a loving eye for detail and a strong emphasis on comfort and functionality. All rooms boast Max Brown signature bedding and linen, tea sets and DEAD CLEAN bathroom amenities. The “Large” rooms in Düsseldorf and “Extra Large“ rooms in Berlin feature an additional sofa bed. Oak hardwood flooring, ornate wallpaper, wooden wall panels and window shutters in offwhite hues warm up the rooms, while bright oriental rugs, bedspreads from HAY, and basketball hoops add some color. Feel like spinning tunes? Thanks to the collaboration with Düsseldorf-based record label “Unique Records”, each room is equipped with a fine selection of vinyl’s, ready to be played on Crosley record players.
