If you follow our website you will know that we recently stayed at the Paresa Phuket, which is an absolutely essential place to stay when you visit Thailand’s Phuket island. So we were very excited to hear that the hotel’s spa has introduced three new natural treatments to their spa menu.
Seaweed gathered from local beaches, a traditional massage balm from Eastern Thailand and a Rose Quartz crystal are some of the secret ingredients in three new spa treatments which have been introduced to The Spa By Paresa at Paresa Resort Phuket.
Magic of Andaman Seaweed Body Wrap – using the detoxifying properties of seaweed which is locally gathered the seaweed is transformed into a treatment by mixing it with hot water, essential oils and clay to create a paste which is then applied over the body .The 60-minute ‘Magic of Andaman Seaweed’ body wrap costs 2,600 baht (£50).
Pregnancy Massage – this treatment uses rose quartz which is reputed to promote a strong bond between mother and baby. The rose quartz is placed on the stomach of the mother to beduring an oil based massage. The father-to-be can then join his partner for a 25-minute massage class guided by Paresa’s expert massage therapists, before the couple relax together in the energy pool. The 90-minute ‘Pregnancy Massage’ costs 3,950 baht (£76), recommended only for pregnancies over 12 weeks.
Full Body Aromatherapy Crystal Massage – 4,100 baht (£79). This treatment sees crystals placed on each chakra point of the body for five minutes, before the treatment continues with a full body massage using a combination of warm, coloured crystals with aromatic oil to promote inner balance, enhance positive energy, relieve muscle tension and remove toxins.
