Hotel Atocha, the latest Only You hotel in the Spanish capital, announces new restaurant and bar pop-ups, as part of its three-month collaboration with US gin brand, Seagram’s.
For one month only, the US restaurant Olmsted is coming to Madrid. This renowned New York restaurant, located in the heart of Prospect Heights is run by Chef Greg Baxtrom and farmer Ian Rothman. Olmsted offers seasonal menus focusing on fresh local ingredients, and since opening last year has been named by the New York Times as ‘Top New Restaurant of 2016’ and highly ranked by The New Yorker, Forbes, Conde Nast Traveller and Food & Wine. The menu has been described as a sensory experience of textures, flavours and temperatures, combining grilled meats and salads.
Only You Hotel Atocha’s on-trend lobby restaurant and bar area is also hosting a pop-up of the world-famous cocktail bar Café Dante, from Greenwich Village, New York. Featured in the ‘World’s 50 Best Bars’, Drinks International’s ‘Best Bars in NYC 2017’ and Conde Nast Traveller’s ‘Top 10 Bars in America 2016’, Café Dante has mixed up cocktails for the likes of Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg, Jerry Seinfeld and Bob Dylan and brings over 100 years of its cocktail craft to Madrid.
The restaurant and bar are being joined by Rivington – Freeman’s Sporting Club Barbers, all part of Seagram’s Gin New York Hotel residency.
Here at The Luxury Editor, we’re ‘all-about’ Madrid at the moment – we can’t get enough of the city, which is now finally becoming recognised as cool European capital.
You can read our review of Only You Atocha Hotel here. The hotel, officially inaugurated in December 2016 by Spanish actress Monica Cruz, has rapidly become a reference point for cocktails and cuisine in the Spanish capital and we think you’ll love it.
