Opening its doors on 7th September 2017 Hotel The Celestine Kyoto Gion is situated in the heart of the Higashiyama district of Kyoto, home to Gion, Kiyomizu-dera and the Kamo River. The hotel’s design concept is based on modern, luxurious re-workings of traditional Japanese themes, with rooms named ‘Higashiyama’ and ‘Yasaka’ complete with sliding ‘washi’ paper screens.
