The Kameha Grand Zurich Hotel, Autograph Collection’s first property in Switzerland, is set to launch a space-suite this October.
Created and designed by visual artist Michael Najjar – who has undergone cosmonaut training in Russia will be one of the first contemporary artists in space as one of Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic Pioneer Astronauts.
The concept behind the suite is to ‘immerse’ guests in the atmosphere of the international space station. Features will include a ‘floating bed’, automated female voice will welcome ‘crew members’ when they enter the space station. spotlights that look like rocket engines and a steam back to name but a few.
Founder & CEO of Kameha Grand Zurich, Carsten K. Rath, commented: “Moving between fiction and reality is a key feature of the Kameha brand, the Space Suite epitomises the ability of Kameha Grand Zurich to blur the lines between the two, creating an incredible design destination.”
A two night break in the suite will cost £1,280 per night.
