Middleton Lodge Estate, North Yorkshire

Overview

Middleton Lodge Estate is a lovingly-restored, independently-owned, Georgian country retreat set within 200 acres of rural parkland in North Yorkshire.

A handful of rooms and suites are scattered throughout the estate, each reflects the distinct character of their primary purpose and combines carefully appointed original features with elegant, contemporary design.

Their restaurant, led by Executive Chef Gareth Rayner, delivers creative, world-class dining inspired by local, seasonal produce and the surrounding kitchen gardens, designed by Tom Stuart Smith.  Guests can expect variations of well known dishes that celebrate authentic ingredients.

Guests can expect a series of cosy corners, ambient roaring fires, endless countryside landscapes – and a roll top bath in almost every room.

The destination provides a refuge from the chaotic city life with infinite outdoor pursuits, charming traditional market towns, and countless heritage sights – and around two hours from Edinburgh by train and just over two hours from London.
