Opened in 2014, The Beaumont, Mayfair, is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts and is privately-owned and independently-run. The luxury five-star London hotel comprises 50 rooms and 23 suites and studios. Inspired by the great hotels of the 1920s, it occupies a fine Art Deco building on a quiet garden square, close to the boutiques, galleries and museums of Mayfair, St James’s and the West End.

Location

The Beaumont is superbly located on a quiet, landscaped square, yet within sight of Selfridges and just a few minutes’ stroll from the luxury shops on Duke Street, Mount Street, South Audley Street and Bond Street. Guests can also easily access the green spaces of Grosvenor Square, Berkeley Square and Hyde Park, whilst those seeking culture can explore Mayfair’s many art galleries.

Each room and suite have been designed with guest’s comfort at the forefront and each room is home to an original painting, a handpicked selection of books and cards or board-games.

The hotel offers 50 rooms and 23 suites, including: The Roosevelt Suite (a presidential suite of up to five bedrooms with private terrace), The Terrace Suites, a one-bedroom suite with a private terrace and ROOM, by Antony Gormley, a one-bedroom suite.

Food and Drink

The 100-seater Colony Grill Room takes its lead from the clubby, traditional grill rooms originally found in London and New York. Dark interiors with elegant lighting and burgundy booths give the Colony Grill Room a handsome sense of style. The grill-based menu offers elevated American classics such as meatloaf, hamburgers, and pies. For all day cocktails, drinks and bar snacks, The Magritte Bar is the place to be.

Facilities and Activities

To enjoy time of relaxation, the Spa offers guests the use of a hamam, dry heat and steam room, sauna, plunge pool and treatment rooms. Abigail James has a permanent residency in one of the treatment rooms for massages and beauty services. For guests wishing to keep fit there is a 24-hour resident’s gymnasium.
Private Dining or business functions can be arranged in The Lotos Room whilst the Cub Room is a private Resident’s Lounge and Bar.
The property has recently undertaken a soft refurbishment of the Cub Room, bar, Colony Grill and spa.

Guests can enjoy the open green space of Hyde Park which is just 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel. For entertainment and culture, the West End, The Wallace Collection, Royal Academy of Art and The British Museum are all less than 30 minutes’ walk.
