Style

The main Grade II listed building dates back to 1911 and was formerly used by lawyers working for Berkshire County Council. Original wooden panelling, cornice mouldings, marble flooring and vast fireplaces still remain and are elegantly entwined with more modern interior touches, including a tall Italian chandelier made of 86,000 beads which runs the full height of the staircase and sculptures by Claire Norrington.

The main hotel building features bold colours and rich furnishings whilst House, the more modern part of the hotel, located across the courtyard is more minimalist in style and features neutral colours.
