Celebrate Old Fashioned Week with Kinahan’s Irish Whiskey

Historical Irish whiskey brand Kinahans is offering limited-edition Old Fashioned cocktails at three of London’s most exciting cocktail bars.

Originally known as the Pioneer of Irish whiskey, Kinahan’s has earned its worldwide reputation for its focus on experimental maturation, as early as the 18th Century. From the 5th to the 14th of November, Kinahan’s has partnered with a selection of London’s best bars to offer three twists on the iconic Old Fashioned cocktail.

The Malt in The Prince Akatoki Hotel, Nightjar and Ruya London at JW Marriott Grosvenor House are all offering limited-edition Old Fashioned cocktails featuring Kinahan’s Kasc Project.

The Kasc Project is an escape into the new ways of whiskey making, using hybrid casks. Each cask is individually constructed from a mix of five different types of trees, including unusual oak varieties and even chestnut. Each different wood species helps create a blend of rich unusual new flavours.

The first expression, “Kasc Project – B”, described as “A Riot of Unconventional Flavours” comprises of a non age statement blend of malt and grain whiskeys, bottled at 43% abv with no chill filtration and without added artificial colouring.
