FishWorks Restaurant & Fishmonger is bringing the seashore to your front door with a new range of nationwide DIY at home kits. The finest fresh catch of the day, from Devon and Cornwall, will be presented in one of three carefully curated DIY kits so that seafood lovers can enjoy a restaurant quality meal in the comfort of their own home.
The FishWorks Feast Box (£165) serves four people and is a delicious three-course menu. Scallops in white wine and Pernod topped with breadcrumbs are presented as the starter, followed by the FishWorks Three Fish Roast. A show-stopping whole seabass, surrounding a flaky monkfish middle layer, with umami-rich fresh anchovy as the salty surprise in the middle. Sides of garlic and rosemary potatoes and spinach with pine nuts are included as side dishes and those with a sweet tooth will enjoy a sticky chocolate brownie dessert with double cream.
The Fruits de Mer Platter (£85, serves 2-3) is a decadent selection of whole lobster (cooked medium), six oysters, four scallops in their shells and Argentinian prawns. Butter, garlic and lemon for dressing are included as well as a beautiful wooden-handled oyster shucking knife and recipe cards for each component.
The Oyster and Wine boxes are perfect for a romantic evening and are available in two sizes, containing 12 or 24 oysters, an assortment of condiments including lemon, fresh parsley and shallot and merlot vinegar, and a bottle of FishWorks’ Quinta da Boa white wine. A shucking knife and a link to a ‘How to Shuck an Oyster’ video tutorial is also provided for those oyster novices. The oyster boxes are priced at £45 for the box of 12 or £55 for 24.
Sustainability is a priority to the FishWorks team who are dedicated to supporting local fish suppliers. As such all FishWorks oysters come from UK shores and fish is selected based on the best catch of the day.
Available to order for UK mainland delivery from 19th March and packed to the brim with the freshest fish and seafood, the boxes are perfect for enjoying special suppers at home.
