This October, Leman Locke by SACO, the future-facing concept shaking up the world of lifestyle hotels and serviced apartments, will introduce Treves &Hyde by Hyde Restaurants.
Located in London’s East End, Locke by SACO combines the autonomy, comfort and convenience of a serviced apartment with the status, personality and social immersion associated with the lifestyle hotel experience.
Evolving throughout the day from healthy breakfasts through to late night cocktails, Treves & Hyde has been designed to serve as a neighbourhood oasis. Downstairs will open with a reduced offer this October, followed by the main bar and restaurant opening later in the year.
With a bar and terrace on the ground floor, an architecturally designed spiral staircase leads to the first floor restaurant and bar. Triple aspect floor to ceiling windows create a light and airy retreat.
The restaurant has a Scandinavian feel with light woods and soft colours enhanced with natural foliage creating a warm, welcoming sanctuary from the bustling city outside.
The kitchen will produce quality food, prepared using local and organic produce where possible. Expect to see items like Burford Brown folded eggs with truffle and field mushrooms or homemade hung yogurt, Paleo granola and tree-ripened mango for breakfast.
For lunch through to dinner, the regularly changing menus will include a range of raw food specialising in tartares and ceviche’s, flat-breads with fresh toppings and bowls of amazing combinations such as black cod with kale and brown rice or Hereford paprikash with red cabbage and buttered noodles.
The bar will have a range of award winning craft beers, eclectic artisan wines and some of London’s best cocktails. Bar snacks include Black Spot pork crackling straws with Bramley sauce, arancini with a melting Tallegio centre and dry-rub braised ribs.
Open throughout the year, weather permitting, the terrace will have an American smoker and Argentinian grill offering items like slow-cooked brisket, smoked lobster rolls and buttermilk wood-roasted chicken with the menu changing regularly to reflect the local produce’s seasonality.
Volcano organic coffee, Chash teas, slow maceration smoothies, Matcha lattes and pure melted Valrhona chocolate with organic milk add to the range of beverages.
Ben Harper, Commercial Director for SACO The Serviced Apartment Company comments, “Our partnership with Treves and Hyde is one example of how Leman Locke by SACO continues to innovate in the serviced apartment sector – by blending the best hotel experience with the freedom and space of serviced apartment living. We are working with new and existing clients to target a new type of “modern traveller” who seeks a more authentic, local experience whether in town for a night or a few weeks.”
