Few countries capture the joys of autumn more than Denmark; and now you have a very good reason to go – the opening of the Sanders Hotel in Copenhagen, writes Andrew Forbes.
This new 54-room boutique property is the brainchild of Alexander Kolpin, the acclaimed former Principal Dancer of the Royal Danish Ballet, and artistic and creative director.
He has personally chosen each detail, and its location close to the city’s theatres and galleries means that this new hotel promises to be something really special when it opens in the autumn.
Coupe rooms are said to be inspired by the aesthetic of luxury train travel; whilst the Sanders generously proportioned apartments are for those that want the utmost privacy.
The Sanders Hotel also intends to be a destination for both visitors and locals alike with the its ‘Sanders Kitchen’, TATA cocktail bar, and the ‘Living Room’.
