Unlocking the World of Prada: A Glimpse Inside the Prada Caffè at Harrods

Prada, the iconic Italian fashion house, has made its mark on the luxury world in London with its new Prada Caffè located at Harrods in London. The environment of the cafe was designed to reflect the hallmarks of the Prada brand, from the interior design and menu to the tableware and atmosphere, creating an unparalleled and luxurious experience in Knightsbridge.

The walls, ceilings and velvet-upholstered furniture are delicately coloured in Prada’s signature green, while the floors are a homage to the black-and-white chequered floor of the historic Prada boutique in Milan.

Floral bas-reliefs on the walls evoke the brand’s flagship stores worldwide. While tableware is an exclusive collection that includes pale-blue Japanese porcelain with a double black line, inspired by an old Celadon pottery. This includes cups with lids, teapots, plates, and trays. Blown-glass crystal glassware with the Triangle series, featuring a signature Prada triangular pattern, is also available.

A wide selection of food and drink is available throughout the day, from breakfast to evening cocktails. Enjoy a modern twist on traditional Italian cuisine, with a variety of sandwiches, risotto, buffalo mozzarella, salmon, and crab dishes. Aperitifs such as spritz and negroni are also available, alongside a selection of signature cocktails. The wine list features bottles from all over Italy, including Sicily and Piedmont.

Pastries are the highlight of the experience, showcased prominently on the main counter and the wall behind it. An array of exquisite patisserie items demonstrate the perfect combination of traditional techniques and modern recipes, combining classic elements with cutting-edge flavours and aromas.

Prada Caffè has opened its doors on Hans Road and is running till the 7th of January 2024, with operating hours of 9 AM to 9 PM Monday to Saturday and 12 PM to 6 PM on Sunday. In addition, an outdoor stall will soon be available, providing Londoners with a selection of ice creams.
