Sealing the island’s stylish stature, SALA Chaweng Beach Resort and Spa has unveiled its new Oceanfront Presidential Pool Villa; a 286 square metre, two-bedroom abode, steps from the seductive sands of north Chaweng Beach. Offering a euphonious balance of space and seclusion, the new villa plays home to a 52-metre private infinity pool, one of the largest beachfront private pools within a resort on Koh Samui – ideal for those seeking unhurried escapism.
The new Oceanfront Presidential Pool Villa adds to the resort’s existing selection of exquisite accommodation offerings, where indoor and outdoor living spaces are seamlessly synthesised. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the back of the property and can be completely drawn back to reveal views of the expansive al fresco lounge and balmy beachfront, while an outdoor shower and bathtub area allow for a deeper connection with nature. Framed by a 114 square metre wooden deck, the private infinity pool spans the entire width of the property and is kept naturally cool under the shade of two ancient Banyan Trees.
Cool, crisp interiors and rounded archways draw inspiration from the curvature of the full moon; the lunar muse that influenced many of the resort’s design features, including the signature ‘Moon Pool’. Handpicked artisan lamps and soft furnishings pepper the property, where natural woods and soft hues of blue compliment the dazzling azure of the ocean. The two bedrooms, each spanning 25 square metres, feature king-sized beds, walk-in wardrobes and sprawling bathrooms with free-standing statement bathtubs. As part of the SALA Signature Collection, guests can choose from a variety of scents for bath soaps, body lotions and pillow types, offering a truly bespoke experience.

The Oceanfront Presidential Pool Villa is part of the phase one launch of SALA Samui Chaweng Beach Resort. The Oceanfront Wing comprises of 52 pool villas and pool suites sized between 74 and 304 square metres. Just in time for summer, a beach bar is set to open at the resort in July, complimenting THE TENT Beachfront Restaurant. The second phase of the resort will be completed in 2019, and will include 83 additional rooms, pool villas and pool suites, as well as SALA Spa and SALA Gym, a garden swimming pool with Garden Pool Bar, and open-air show kitchen.
