Sublimotion Unveils Its Most Ambitious Season Yet at BLESS Ibiza The Site

The world’s first gastronomic show returns on 1 June 2026 with a new concept, a Tomorrowland collaboration and Meta Quest 3 headsets woven into the experience.

Sublimotion, billed as the world’s first gastronomic show, raises the curtain on its 13th season, this time from a new home at the five-star BLESS Ibiza The Site. The season introduces a concept designed to surprise an audience already well-versed in the world’s most exclusive experiences, with a culinary direction that leans into the quality of its ingredients and the interplay between cuisine, technology, and stagecraft.

Created by chef Paco Roncero and producer Eduardo Gonzáles, Sublimotion has spent more than a decade reshaping how experiential haute cuisine is understood, folding avant-garde cooking, theatrical storytelling, immersive technology and visual art into a format with few, if any, international rivals. Thirteen years on, its founding ambition remains intact: to reinvent the act of sitting down to a meal and carry the diner into a world where gastronomy and emotion meet.

The headline addition this year is an exclusive collaboration with the Tomorrowland Ibiza Store. The partnership draws guests into the visual and emotional universe of the celebrated festival, creating an immersive setting in which music, cocktails, and a layered audiovisual environment combine into a multisensory experience.

Sublimotion also renews its partnership with Pernod Ricard, which pairs the evening with offerings that include Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Rosé champagne. Technology, meanwhile, takes a further leap through a tie-up with Meta: the integration of Meta Quest 3 virtual reality headsets, developed jointly by Sublimotion’s creative, engineering, and culinary teams, pushes the show toward a new level of sensory immersion and explores how technology can be applied to gastronomic entertainment.

For Roncero, the evolution is as much philosophical as technical. “This season’s new offering stems from a cuisine that is more precise, more emotional, and more connected than ever to the essence of the product,” he says. “A serene avant-garde where technique, narrative, and staging move forward in perfect harmony.”

Gonzáles frames the launch as a high point in the show’s history. “We’re kicking off this season with the satisfaction of a job well done, paying close attention to every detail of the show and thoroughly enjoying the entire creative process,” he says. “Starting June 1, we’re launching what is likely the best experience of the past thirteen years.”

The show forms part of The Site Ibiza’s gastronomic hub, a project that brings together gastronomy, hospitality, retail, art, and entertainment under a contemporary reading of the Ibiza lifestyle. Alongside its dining concepts, The Site Ibiza encompasses luxury hospitality ventures including BLESS Ibiza The Site and The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, as well as IBIZA Gallery, a retail space uniting fashion, design, art and international brands.
