From 30 July to 28 August, Rosewood Villa Magna will host an open-air cinema series in its gardens, offering a summer programme of classic films paired with drinks and dining in one of Madrid’s most central green spaces. Screenings will take place from Wednesday to Sunday, transforming the hotel’s outdoor setting into a quiet escape for both guests and visitors.
Each evening begins at 21:30 with a welcome cocktail, followed by the film screening at 22:00. The programme includes a mix of widely known titles such as Coco, Pretty Woman, There’s Something About Mary, Bohemian Rhapsody, and The Greatest Showman.
The hotel has also created a set of themed cocktails inspired by the films, including the “Algo pasa con St-Germain,” “Bohemian Negroni,” and “The Greatest Almond.” Each ticket includes a cocktail and popcorn. Individual armchairs are available for €36, while double sofas can be reserved for €72.
An optional menu has been developed for the event, with a mix of sweet and savoury dishes, soft drinks, and spritzes available for purchase during the evening. The setting aims to offer a quiet, understated atmosphere that pairs well with the slower pace of Madrid’s summer nights.
Rosewood Villa Magna’s gardens, located along Paseo de la Castellana, provide the backdrop for this seasonal programme, offering a relaxed way to enjoy familiar films in a familiar city with a shift in setting and tone.
