The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok Concludes Marriott’s 2025 Luxury Dining Series With “Forgotten Flavors” Celebration

The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok, one of the Thai capital’s newest luxury addresses, will host the highly anticipated finale of Marriott International’s 2025 Luxury Dining Series this September. Set within the One Bangkok development on Wireless Road, the event takes place from 25 to 28 September and brings together an extraordinary line-up of international culinary talent to spotlight the theme “Forgotten Flavors”.

This year’s series has journeyed across seven destinations in Asia Pacific, uniting over 25 globally acclaimed chefs and mixologists to rediscover long-forgotten ingredients and revive traditional cooking techniques. Inspired by Marriott’s Future of Food 2025 Report, which highlights Asia Pacific’s 37.8% share of the global culinary tourism market and projects a rise to USD6.2 trillion by 2033, the initiative taps into a growing appetite for immersive gastronomic experiences that celebrate heritage and sustainability.

A Four-Day Culinary Showcase

For this grand finale, the hotel has curated an ambitious programme of multi-chef collaborations, private dining experiences, and innovative beverage events, each reflecting a commitment to reviving Thailand’s culinary legacy.

At Duet by David Toutain, guests will be treated to inventive six-hands dinners on 25 and 26 September featuring the celebrated French chef alongside Chef Valentin Fouache and Michelin-starred Chef Adam Catterall from Hong Kong’s Roganic. On 27 and 28 September, Duet will host a second collaborative experience merging French artistry with Asian refinement, led by Louise Hong Kong’s Executive Chef Loïc Portalier.

Friends of Lily’s will see Chef de Cuisine Sedtapat Sukpaisanpongsa (Pop) join forces with Tala Bashmi, named MENA’s Best Female Chef by the World’s 50 Best, Loïc Portalier, and Chef Jai of Charmgang. The menu promises a remarkable fusion of Middle Eastern, Thai, and French culinary traditions. For a more intimate experience, Lily’s will present a private dining event on 26 September, limited to just ten guests, offering an authentic taste of Bahraini cuisine reinterpreted by Chef Tala Bashmi.

Innovative Mixology and Sweet Indulgences

The hotel’s Calēo Bar will play host to an exclusive collaboration between Angelo Sparvoli, Head Bartender of London’s renowned American Bar at The Savoy, and Simone Rossi, a celebrated mixologist from Hong Kong known for his Ratafia Rossi cherry liqueur. The two-night event on 25 and 26 September promises cutting-edge cocktail creations blending European technique with Asian influence.

From 25th to 28th September, Calēo will also present a multi-sensory chocolate afternoon tea crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Sylvain Constans. Guests can expect guided tastings and live demonstrations highlighting rare cacao beans from around the globe, offering a deeper appreciation of artisanal chocolate-making.
