The boutique hotel, designed by Toni Tollman, blends historical architecture with contemporary comforts and interiors and echoes the ambience of a private members club. Highlights include bespoke artworks and a mural by Croxford and Saunders, reflecting the spirit of Scottish explorers.

The 30 elegant rooms and suites offer stunning views of Edinburgh Castle and each room has been individually designed – from smart singles to executive suites and interconnecting rooms there is an option to suit every occasion and guest.

The Wallace, the hotel’s dining area led by chef Willhelm Maree, features local delicacies and whisky tastings whilst the Ghillie’s Pantry provides a private dining experience with over 100 whiskies – all dining and drinking venues are reserved exclusively for residents.

Bespoke Scottish experiences, from crafting gin, and creating your scent to fishing on the River Tweed can be tailored for guests at their request.
