Set on five miles of pure white beach, this playground for the elite has been hosting guests since 1962. Inspired by the Palace of Versailles, The Ocean Club is surrounded by carefully manicured gardens, which include its own golf course. Some areas are multi-tiered, bursting with colourful bougainvillaea, koi filled ponds and statues, proffering views of the city harbour. Guests can dine at the French-Asian Dune, the Western-style Caribbean Ocean or take lighter meals in the Dune Bar and imbibe Bond-style in the Martini Bar. There’s also a Balinese spa, three pools and a 12th-century cloister.
