Beoplay Ex: Bang & Olufsen’s Versatile New Truly Wireless Earphones

Beoplay EX is the latest addition to the leading audio brand’s range of wearables. With adaptive ANC and complete waterproofing, the latest product provides the kind of performance and style that’s never been experienced before.

The new shape

Users will find the most obvious departure from previous Bang & Olufsen earphones is their aesthetic. Designed by Thomas Bentzen, the earphones form a stem-based shape, created to be both stylish and comfortable. The housing of the earphone placed inside the ear is smaller than previous models, ensuring a stable fit that can be worn for hours without the need for readjustment.

The signature Bang & Olufsen aesthetic – perfected over 96 years of craftsmanship and innovation – remains part of the overall look though; a mirror-like glass interface catches the light, while the brushed aluminium ring creates a statement for the wearer whether they opt for the sophisticated Black Anthracite, glamorous Gold Tone or striking Anthracite Oxygen finish.

A personal sound companion

Beoplay EX has a matching brushed aluminium charging case, which, as it’s pocket-sized, makes it the perfect travel companion. So th headphones are well suited to the office, the gym, at home or on tho go. And whichever setting you find yourself in, the headphones will optimise for the environment.

Tuned by the brand’s acoustic engineers with decades of experience, listeners can expect the kind of superior sound synonymous with Bang & Olufsen products. The miniature package encompasses Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation technology so that the wearer can experience the depth, detail and clarity of sound that the artist intended. It’s a truly immersive audio journey.

Amplifying all varieties of daily audio experiences

Its 9.2 mm speaker driver is the biggest ever used for a true-wireless device by the Bang & Olufsen. And you can listen all day with up to 20 hours of total playtime (including charging in the case and 6 hours of playtime with ANC turned on). Upgraded call quality means that Beoplay EX can be used for work meetings or personal calls at any time; each earphone includes three microphones, beamforming technology and own voice functionality built-in, for high-quality calls on demand.

Additionally, the product boasts Bluetooth 5.2 technology, background noise reduction and Multipoint connectivity (allowing connection with two devices at the same time, so you can listen to music from one and make calls with the other). Plus the new model has been designed to be sweat and IP57-certified dust resistant, making it a durable, practical and stylish choice.

Beoplay EX in Anthracite Oxygen will be available from May 5th (RRP £349) from Bang & Olufsen stores, selected retailers and www.bang-olufsen.com.
