Best Luxury Hotels in Gozo
Until recently Gozo was a day trip destination for visitors staying in Malta, but this compact island has seen an increase in demand for tourists wanting to spend longer on the island and we can see why! It’s packed with history and the food and drink scene focuses strongly on the island’s fresh local produce, mix this with a laid back atmosphere, which you won’t find on Malta, and you have the perfect place to spend a few days relaxing. At the moment Gozo’s accommodation focuses on smaller family run B&B’s and hotels but if you want a luxury experience there are two five star properties on Gozo which we highly recommend.
Gozo, San Lawrenz
Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz

Stay at The Duke and you can have your very own private sauna. And while there isn’t a dedicated restaurant on site, the street below is filled with excellent restaurants and cafes.

It is the only hotel in the region offering a complete hideaway where you can escape and unwind. The hotel offers three dining options, which range from Al Fresco dining at Il Carrubo, where you sample Italian inspired cuisine as well as Gozitan specialities. Head to Terrazo for Mediterranean flavours while enjoying views from the highest point on the island or dine by the waters edge at Kantra Beach Club before enjoying a day relaxing at Kantra Beach.
