Best Luxury Hotels In Mitte

For that true tourist experience with deep-rooted history at its core, the borough of Mitte in Berlin is your next base. As the first and most central borough of the city, the area has six sub-entities and was formerly divided between 1961 and 1990 into East and West Berlin.

While the hub of many tourist attractions including the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, the TV Tower, Reichstag, and Brandenburg Gate, the area is well-situated for transport links out and around the city. Aside from this, you can immerse yourself in one of the biggest theatre stages in the world at the Friedrichstadt-Palast or spend hours soaking in the beauty of the Perfamonmuseum. If this sounds like you, find that luxurious touch to your travelling by checking out our recommended hotels within the area.

Hotel Zoe by AMANO

Hotel

Design is at the heart of Hotel Zoe. This beautifully formed hotel of 88 rooms is sophisticated, contemporary and a little bit sexy. The décor of the hotel is a signature combination of rich fabrics, dark and light contrasts, earthy tones, interspersed with luxe touches of gold, marble and velvet. Lighting throughout the hotel is purposefully subdued to create an intimate, tranquil vibe and almost all the furnishings in the public areas are seductively dark in colour. Whilst the smaller rooms are definitely on the smaller side of things (with not much more room than for a bed and a small desk), they are still elegantly furnished with leather headboards and high quality furniture.  Whilst the hotel doesn’t boast its own restaurant, it does feature a sleek street-facing Gin & Tonic bar which looks classy enough for Gatsby himself.
