Following hot on the heels of Trifecta (Campfire’s first true wireless earphones in Orbit), the forward-looking brand breaks even more ground as it launches its Andromeda ‘Emerald Sea’ and Solaris ‘Stellar Horizon’ earphones. You may be familiar with the previous incarnations of these classics, but the Audio specialists have taken the models to another level.
Andromeda ‘Emerald Sea’ Five Balanced Armature Driver IEM
Featuring a new ergonomic shell design that’s smaller and smoother contours, the new improved Andromeda is super comfy to wear. Update stainless-steel fasteners and MMCX capture ensures they’re sleeker than ever. Five custom, dual-diaphragm balanced armatures have been added for lower distortion, greater stability and resilience. While re-engineered internal acoustic geometry, updated 3D-printed driver housings, an expanded acoustic range and lower sensitivity bring an unbeatable sonic experience.
Solaris ‘Stellar Horizon’ Quad Hybrid Driver IEM
Both stylish and durable, the Solaris shell is made from precision machined, brushed stainless steel, offset by brass fasteners, MMCX capture, a custom gold PVD inlay and black laser-cut acrylic. Unseen, are the two new pieces of driver and driver treatment technology, with three custom dual diaphragm balanced armatures for greater output, quality extension and minimised distortion. Radial Venting surrounds the 10mm ADLC dynamic driver for increased air volume and dynamic driver performance. The result is both energetic and versatile, with a powerful bass but plenty of audio detail.
Added extras
Each are presented in unique boxes, created one on one by the brand in their Portland Oregon workshop. And both the Andromeda and Solaris come with Time Stream cables, silver-plated copper conductors with Beryllium copper MMCX connectors in 2.5mm balanced, 3.5mm stereo and 4.4mm balanced termination cables.
