Set in a shimmering tower on the bank of the Jinjiang River, guests are treated to pretty views of the waterway as well as the neighbouring Yihe Park. There are plenty of elegant authentic Chinese touches throughout this establishment such as deep red lacquer panels, fresh flowers and the large chandeliers that have been inspired by Chinese lanterns. The guestrooms are very comfortable and offer understated luxury with their marble bathrooms, while the river view deluxe rooms are simply stunning. As you would expect from a Shangri La there are several excellent restaurants to choose from that focus on authentic Chinese dishes with plenty of decadent touches.
