London Heathrow Airport (LHR) Lounge Guide

London’s largest international airport sees millions of passengers take to the skies every year. In 2024, London Heathrow Airport was the busiest airport in Europe and one of the busiest airports in the whole world. There are hundreds of thousands of flights, each year, to domestic and international destinations at all times of the day. No matter where or when you fly, there is a relaxing airport lounge experience waiting for you. Across the four terminals, you’ll find a range of airline-specific lounges in addition to the many branded lounges open to passengers of any airline and ticket class.

No.1 Lounges

In London Heathrow Airport, you can choose from a range of No.1-branded lounges waiting to upgrade your airport experience. Each lounge provides unlimited WiFi and charging facilities for all guests. Passengers of all ages can indulge in the luxurious No.1 Lounge, located in terminal 2, where you’ll find a selection of complimentary buffet-style food and beverages in addition to a seasonal menu. There is also a fully tended bar serving hot and cold, soft and alcoholic drinks including premium beers, wines, and spirits. There are TV lounges for viewing sports games, films, and TV shows as well as a serene library area for peace and quiet. The lounge is open from 5am to 9pm.

The No.1 Lounge in terminal 3 is open daily from 5am to 10pm and offers similar lavish amenities with the addition of excellent views of the runway. There are business facilities, ideal for professional travellers looking to get working on the go. The terminal is also home to the My Lounge by No1 Lounge, also overlooking the runway, where guests can enjoy complimentary food and beverages throughout the day, for up to 3 hours pre-flight, in a calm environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the departure terminal. There are also quiet zones, business facilities, and digital reading materials to help you pass the time. The terminal’s most luxurious offering is the newly opened Clubrooms from No1 Lounge with its stunning orangery. Here, you’ll enjoy complimentary à la carte dining with a dedicated waiter and premium beverages included. This intimate lounge, overlooking the runway, is reserved from travellers aged 12 and above and opens from 5am to 9pm.

Children are welcome in all four of the lounges and facilities are fully accessible to Blue Badge holders including shower facilities. Guests are invited to make use of the unlimited WiFi and charging facilities. The Plaza Premium Lounge in terminal 2 is open from 5am to 9pm and serves complimentary hot and cold food and pre-packaged items to suit the time of day with access to private resting suites available. In terminal 4, the Plaza Premium Lounge is open from 5am to 10pm with an array of local and international cuisine on offer, accompanied by complimentary beverages, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Sheltered from the hustle of Heathrow’s busiest terminal, the lounge in terminal 5 provides a tranquil escape from 4:45am to 9:30pm. As in the other terminals, guests are invited to savour a range of hot and cold dishes with pre-packaged food items and orders to suit the time of day.
