New Gucci Eyewear – Inspired by Music and Travel

The sunglasses in the new Gucci Eyewear campaign are inspired by travel and music, the tour bus becomes the backdrop of the campaign for the first release of the 2022 eyewear collection. Frame silhouettes are influenced by retro styles and finished with distinctive elements that add depth and sophistication

Two parallel stories are portrayed in a cinematic style throughout the campaign, one with actress and Global Brand Ambassador Ni Ni, the other with singer Lou Doillon accompanied by a band of characters. Within the mysterious and colour-rich setting, each protagonist possesses an attitude of quiet confidence and individuality. Ni Ni wears a selection of oversized frames, each enriched with distinctive elements such as Interlocking G details and gold chains. Lou Doillon wears the cat-eye or round frames with a permeating retro feel.

The latest range of sunglasses and optical frames showcases the individualistic and artistic spirit of Gucci. Drawing inspiration from archival elements of the House, the collection is an eclectic mix of shapes and styles reminiscent of bygone eras. Playful charms as well as emblematic codes, such as the Double G logo, appear as subtle design details throughout the selection.
