Opening in May 2019 in San Diego’s downtown neighbourhood is The Guild Hotel, a unique property made up of ornate and bespoke tilework, with contemporary art lining the walls. Set within the 1920’s Army-Navy YMCA building, the boutique hotel has a rich history and is unlike any other building in the city.
162 guest rooms will make up The Guild, from cosy Queen rooms to a sprawling rooftop penthouse. All will feature smart TVs as well as signature bath amenities and high-speed Wi-Fi without. The original YMCA basketball court has been transformed into an elegant ballroom, with the adjacent outdoor running track now serving as a stylish mezzanine.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Luca, will serve rustic Mediterranean delights whilst outside of the property, San Diego’s top restaurants, bars, theatres and galleries are just minutes away.
