By the still waters of Brunnsviken in the Royal Haga Park, a new icon of Nordic hospitality has arrived. Hagastrand, Autograph Collection has officially opened its doors in Stockholm, marking Marriott Bonvoy’s first Autograph Collection property in Scandinavia. Merging architectural innovation and contemporary Nordic design with wellness philosophy, the 215-room hotel offers a new experiential travel offering in Sweden.
Designed by Swedish studio Wingårdhs, the property reflects the serene beauty of its lakeside setting through natural materials, soft light, and tactile finishes. Guests can choose from rooms overlooking the water or the park.
At the heart of the hotel lies the 2,500 sqm Hagastrand Spa, one of the most ambitious wellness destinations in Northern Europe. Highlights include Scandinavia’s largest snow room for cryotherapy, Sweden’s first event sauna for guided rituals, red light therapy, neuroacoustic loungers, and Gongmatic, a custom sound installation offering meditative journeys through vibration and tone. Guests can also enjoy an 18 m pool with underwater music, movement-based Sanctum classes, and a private wellness suite for exclusive treatments and mindful rest.
Culinary excellence can be found at Restaurant Njord, where seasonal Nordic ingredients meet global techniques in a warm, design-forward setting. A cocktail bar, spa lounge and relaxed games lounge offer spaces for connection and conversation.
Hagastrand is the latest creation from Nobis Hospitality Group, the team behind design-led destinations including Nobis Hotel Stockholm, Miss Clara, and Concepció by Nobis in Palma. Each project reflects the group’s commitment to thoughtful architecture, contemporary culture and meaningful hospitality experiences.
