Palladium Hotel Group has returned to Barcelona with the opening of BLESS Barcelona, a new five-star hotel bringing the BLESS Collection Hotels experience to the heart of the Catalan capital this August. Set on Plaça Catalunya, moments from Passeig de Gràcia, the hotel places guests within easy reach of Gaudí’s modernist architecture and luxury boutique shopping. The 119-room property marks the brand’s fourth hotel and its first in Barcelona.
A collaboration with Hofmann, one of Barcelona’s most respected culinary institutions, guides the hotel’s dining from the moment guests arrive in the lobby. On the rooftop, La Pajarera takes its inspiration from the historic Gran Café Colón, one of the city’s most celebrated meeting places in the late 19th century, reimagined as a destination for cocktails and dining with views across the city. The drinks programme is led by Adriana Chía, whose contemporary approach gives the bar a distinctive edge.

The opening strengthens Palladium Hotel Group’s position in the luxury segment, with BLESS Barcelona joining BLESS Madrid on the capital’s Milla de Oro and two properties in Ibiza, BLESS Ibiza Cala Nova on the island’s north coast and BLESS Ibiza The Site, which opened this season in Playa d’en Bossa as part of the group’s new The Site Ibiza lifestyle concept.
The brand’s expansion continues beyond Spain in the coming years. An exclusive resort of 80 villas in Ninh Van Bay, Vietnam, is planned for 2027, marking the brand’s first property in Southeast Asia, followed by BLESS Hanoi in 2028 and a 100-room debut in Milan in 2029.
