Tucked away within three hectares of landscaped gardens in Gassin, just moments from the energy of Saint-Tropez, a new chapter is soon to unfold for Evok Collection. In April 2027, the group will unveil Nolinski Golfe de Saint-Tropez, the first rural retreat from the Nolinski brand, following the success of its quietly sophisticated urban addresses in Paris and Venice.
Set on the site of the former Mas de Chastelas, the new opening signals a deliberate shift in mood for the brand. Rather than the theatrical rhythm of the city, Nolinski Golfe de Saint-Tropez is being conceived around the softer cadence of the Riviera: long lunches that drift into afternoon cocktails, late dinners beneath fading golden light and the kind of effortless sociability that defines summers on the Côte d’Azur.
While Saint-Tropez has long balanced glamour with escapism, this latest project appears determined to lean into both. The hotel is designed not simply as a base from which to explore the region, but as a destination in its own right. Somewhere guests settle into for the season’s slower rituals, whether that means afternoons by the pool, evenings at the bar or multigenerational family stays where every detail has been carefully considered.
Architect and designer Nathan Litera has been tasked with translating the Nolinski aesthetic into a distinctly Riviera setting. Early details suggest an atmosphere shaped by clean architectural lines, tactile materials and a continual dialogue with natural light; the sort of understated elegance that feels entirely at home on this stretch of coastline. The intention is not to recreate Saint-Tropez nostalgia, but to reinterpret it through a more contemporary, design-led lens.
Alongside 55 rooms and suites, the property will feature a restaurant and bar, two swimming pools, a wellness and spa space, tennis and padel facilities, concierge services and extensive gardens. Families are also clearly central to the vision, with dedicated kids’ and teen clubs designed to allow both younger guests and parents to experience the hotel without compromise, something increasingly sought after within the luxury travel space, yet still relatively rare at this level.
The opening also reflects the continued evolution of Evok Collection itself. Since launching in 2014, the group has steadily built a reputation for creating hospitality experiences that feel emotionally driven as much as they are aesthetically polished. Through brands including Nolinski and Brach, Evok has developed hotels that place equal emphasis on atmosphere, culture and a strong sense of identity, whether in Parisian neighbourhoods, Venetian palazzos or now, the landscapes surrounding Saint-Tropez.
Reservations for Nolinski Golfe de Saint-Tropez are expected to open in July 2026, ahead of the hotel’s official debut in April 2027.
For travellers planning future Riviera escapes, it is likely to become one of the most closely watched luxury openings on the Mediterranean calendar.
