A Unique 33-Cask Journey
Ascension’s distinct character comes from its intricate journey through 33 unique casks, each selected to impart specific flavours during the maturation process. The whisky’s evolution occurs entirely through this sequence, without blending, resulting in a spirit that boasts unparalleled complexity and balance. From Madeira Barriques to Japanese Mizunara oak, the diverse cask lineup includes Mezcal, Pedro Ximénez, and Ruby Port barrels, each contributing to the whisky’s nuanced layers.
