New Rice Menu Keeps the Summer Mood Alive at Ancala, Sotogrande

Ancala at The Beach (The Reserva Club, Sotogrande) has launched an autumn Rice Menu that embodies the relaxed vibe of Sotogrande. Priced at €50 per person (drinks not included), it is built for sharing, and stretching the day a little longer beside the water.

The menu opens with relaxed starters designed to pass around: jamón ibérico croquettes with tomato alioli, and confit artichokes and leeks with Payoyo cheese and romesco. The centrepiece is rice cooked to order, with five choices: Campero, Fish & Seafood, Black, Mixed or Vegetarian. A homemade dessert closes the meal on a sweet note.

Lunch here also comes with time by the pool. Booking the Rice Menu includes a sun lounger at The Beach’s heated pool, a turquoise-water setting that makes autumn feel like a second summer. From October, families will also find a children’s entertainment programme, so younger guests have their own space to play while adults settle into the calm of an unhurried afternoon.

The Luxury Editor joined a workshop with Chef Alberto Sarmiento and Chef Antonio Tijera of Ancala to learn some of the secrets of being a paella pro.
