Nobu Marbella has announced a new limited edition dining experience pairing premium Japanese A5 Wagyu with Hibiki whisky from the House of Suntory.
The Japanese Wagyu & Whisky: Limited Edition Experience runs every Thursday evening from 15 January to 5 February 2026. Executive Chef Eleni Manousou and her team have created a menu that highlights the rich marbling of A5 Wagyu alongside the distinctive notes of Hibiki Japanese whisky.
The launch dinner on 15 January welcomed the House of Suntory brand ambassador, and wagyu specialist Mark Chapman, who shared the story behind the pairing. The restaurant’s à la carte menu remains available alongside the limited edition dishes.
The Luxury Editor was invited to the opening night, where Executive Chef Eleni Manousou and her team introduced nine new creations, thoughtfully designed to unite A5 Wagyu with Hibiki whisky from the House of Suntory.
The menu ranges from Japanese Wagyu tenderloin finished with a whisky-infused demi-glace to a playful Hibiki Cappuccino dessert, with each dish carefully matched to its counterpart.
The evening included live Japanese koto performances, interactive show cooking by the chefs, and a cocktail presentation highlighting the Hikari Fizz. Guests were guided through a whisky tasting by Adrián Castillo, Brand Ambassador for the House of Suntory, exploring two single malts before culminating in the celebrated Hibiki. Select national media attendees were also offered a taste of the rare and limited Hibiki 21-year-old.
In addition, trusted supplier and wagyu specialist Mark Chapman spoke about the origins of this exceptional beef from southern Japan, highlighting its distinctive marbling, aroma, and texture.
The Japanese Wagyu & Whisky: Limited Edition Experience is available every Thursday until 5 February, alongside the restaurant’s à la carte offering.
