Radisson Collection Debuts in Hungary at Budapest’s Iconic Basilica

Radisson Hotel Group has introduced its first Radisson Collection property in Hungary with the opening of the Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest. Located in the lively heart of Budapest just steps from the iconic St. Stephen’s Basilica, the launch signals a significant milestone for the brand as it brings contemporary boutique luxury to one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

Housed in a beautifully restored neoclassical building that once served as a school, the 71-room hotel fuses historic grandeur with modern design. Many of the individually styled rooms and suites offer sweeping views of the Basilica, immersing guests in the city’s architectural heritage. Interiors showcase bespoke furnishings, curated artwork, high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and plush robes, ensuring a stay that combines comfort with style. Guests can also enjoy a boutique fitness area and two private boardrooms that can be connected for intimate meetings or creative sessions.

Dining is at the heart of the experience, with three distinctive venues offering flavours and atmospheres to suit different moments of the day. The Collection Café & Lounge provides a relaxed, vintage-inspired setting for freshly brewed barista coffee, house-made pastries, and light seasonal dishes. The Arc Bistro, bright and welcoming, serves international comfort cuisine alongside a curated selection of local wines, crafted cocktails, and cold-pressed juices. At the pinnacle of the hotel, ISSEI Skybar & Restaurant delivers a memorable rooftop experience, pairing Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavours with panoramic views over Budapest. Evening DJ sessions and a vibrant atmosphere make ISSEI a destination in its own right.
