Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has launched a completely renewed inflight service for its long-haul Business and First Class cabins, enhancing the journey from aperitif to dessert with the ambience of a fine dining restaurant in the sky. The transformation, part of the wider SWISS Senses concept, focuses on culinary sophistication, comfort, and Swiss hospitality, elevating every detail of the passenger experience.
New In-Flight Experience In SWISS Business
Travellers in Business Class are welcomed with a Swiss aperitif, paired with light bites such as olives and accompanied by the signature SWISS Alpine Essence cocktail. Meals are presented course by course on a neatly set table, with the addition of a soup course, an expanded cheese and dessert offering, and pralines from Aeschbach Chocolatier. New bed linen, Muntagnard sleepshirts on longer flights, and stylish amenity kits co-developed with Swiss brand VIU add layers of comfort, complemented by Soeder skincare products and high-quality headphones.
Refined Accents In SWISS First
For First Class passengers, exclusivity takes centre stage. Service begins before departure with Confiserie Sprüngli’s apéro flûtes and a welcome drink. Onboard, an amuse bouche trio leads into a trolley of delicatessen selections, seasonal sorbets, a five-cheese course, and Sprüngli pralines. Afternoon tea is now also offered on selected daytime routes. Comfort is enhanced with Zimmerli pyjamas, Rohner slippers, and Sisley care items, while the Alpine Valley fragrance by Soeder is woven throughout the experience in hot towels and pillow sprays.
Part Of SWISS Senses
These redesigned services are integral to SWISS Senses, the airline’s new long-haul inflight concept. Alongside revamped interiors, ambient lighting, and next-generation seating, the renewed dining and comfort elements ensure that Business and First Class journeys feel less like transport and more like an indulgent hospitality experience above the clouds.
