Acquiring the Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh, fondly known as ‘The Caley’, in July 2023, Henderson Park and Klarent Hospitality have outlined ambitious investment strategies exceeding £35 million. These funds will be channelled into enhancing infrastructure, revamping bedrooms, and rejuvenating public spaces to elevate the overall guest experience. By early 2026, the hotel is slated to expand its footprint to over 300 rooms, solidifying its stature as one of Edinburgh’s premier hospitality destinations.

Embracing the ethos of Curio Collection, The Caledonian will showcase the unique essence of Edinburgh, offering bespoke experiences curated around the city’s rich heritage and culture.
Originally commissioned by the Caledonian Railway Company and completed between 1899 and 1908, The Caledonian draws inspiration from the historic crests of Edinburgh, Stirling, and Inverness.
