Shura Island, the main hub of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project destination, welcomes The Red Sea EDITION as the first resort to open on the lively island.
As with every EDITION hotel, the spirit of the local area and culture is encapsulated in its design, and this 240-room beachfront resort is no exception. Taking inspiration from the natural landscape of the Red Sea, acclaimed architecture and design firm, Rockwell Group, has successfully and seamlessly created a connection between the resort and its surroundings.

Low-rise architecture with shell-inspired rooftops houses the beachfront and golf-facing pavilion-style 240 guest rooms, which include 53 suites, and interiors intertwine natural materials like coral stone and rammed earth along with oak and woven textures to reflect the journey from rock to sand to sea. Larger suites sit under their own clamshell, offering ultimate exclusivity and privacy.
