The property’s modernist architecture, envisioned by ONION and brought to life with interiors by DIN Studio, Studio Lupine, and The Standard’s design team under Verena Haller, combines sculptural brutalism with organic curves and playful colour. Landscape design by PLA ensures every corner flows seamlessly from garden to ocean, creating an immersive, sensory environment that evolves throughout the day.
At the heart of the resort is Esmé, The Standard’s first-ever beach club. Inspired by the free-spirited rhythm of Mexico’s coastlines and infused with Thai flair, Esmé serves flavour-packed dishes such as Chicharrones de Cerdo con Guacamole, Pescado Zarandeado, and Camarón Tacos, paired with signature cocktails like the Pattaya Paloma rimmed with Thai mala spice.
