W Hotels has officially entered the all-inclusive market with the opening of W Punta Cana, Adult All-Inclusive, a new addition to Marriott Bonvoy’s global luxury portfolio. Located on a pristine stretch of the Dominican Republic’s eastern coastline, the 340-room resort becomes the brand’s first adults-only all-inclusive and sets a new precedent for lifestyle-led hospitality in the Caribbean.
Designed by Zanobia Arquitectura, the resort’s aesthetic is inspired by local heritage, with natural textures, colonial motifs and accents referencing larimar stone and native fauna. Guest rooms, all starting at 700 square feet, are appointed exclusively with king-size beds, and 46 suites feature swim-up access or full-size private pools.
Twelve restaurants and bars span global cuisines and innovative concepts, from the lively Trade Market food hall to Scena’s refined Caribbean flavours and the intimate 33 1/3 Speakeasy. The WET Deck surrounds an 80-metre infinity pool, while the more tranquil Chill Pool provides a space to unwind with cocktails and light bites.

Wellness takes centre stage at the AWAY Spa, offering ten treatment rooms, a Himalayan salt room, and an indoor pool. A 24-hour FIT gym, beachside yoga and locally inspired spa rituals complete the holistic offering. Signature programming includes DJ-led sound baths, beachside silent discos, curated vinyl libraries and live music sessions produced in collaboration with Dominican-based electronic music collective Chinese Laundry.
With curated excursions, elevated dining, immersive wellness and a strong connection to Dominican culture, W Punta Cana redefines the possibilities of the all-inclusive model. It also marks the beginning of a wider rollout, with future W Hotels all-inclusive properties planned for Playa del Carmen and Costa Mujeres.
