Reservations are now open for the highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, marking the first appearance of the iconic luxury brand in Malaysia. Scheduled to welcome its first guests in late 2026, the hotel will occupy a prime position in Kuala Lumpur’s prestigious Golden Triangle, within easy reach of the Petronas Twin Towers, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and the city’s renowned shopping, dining and business districts.
Designed as an all-suite urban retreat, the hotel will feature 268 spacious suites, beginning at an impressive 80 square metres and culminating in the 745-square-metre Waldorf Astoria Suite. Interiors combine the brand’s timeless elegance with subtle references to Malaysian culture, creating a contemporary residential feel complemented by sweeping city skyline views.
Dining is set to become one of the property’s defining attractions. Among the headline openings will be concepts created in collaboration with internationally acclaimed chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten, adding significant culinary credentials to the hotel’s collection of restaurants and bars.

Meanwhile, elegant event spaces, including venues for weddings, celebrations and corporate gatherings, position the hotel as one of Kuala Lumpur’s newest luxury destinations for both leisure and social occasions.
Further details of the hotel’s culinary, wellness and social experiences are expected to be announced over the coming months.
The opening represents another significant milestone in Waldorf Astoria’s global expansion and further strengthens Kuala Lumpur’s growing reputation as one of Southeast Asia’s leading luxury city destinations.
