Fortnum & Mason’s Coastal Retreat Unveiling their ‘Eau de Nil’ Beach Huts for a Sumptuous Summer Picnic Experience in Cornwall

This summer, Fortnum & Mason is heading to the picturesque Cornish coast, introducing a trio of their renowned ‘Eau de Nil’ coloured beach huts, now available for public bookings on the stunning cliffs of Watergate Bay, Cornwall. Collaborating with the esteemed chef, author, and restaurateur, Emily Scott, Fortnum’s extends an inviting call to holidaymakers for the ultimate summer experience at the beach.

Embracing the nostalgia of past summers spent along the British coastline, the iconic retailer offers this unique and joyful experience for a limited time, catering to those eager to relish the UK summer, especially with a significant number of Brits opting for staycations this year.

Within the comfort of these exquisite beach huts, adorned with handpicked homeware, including cosy rugs and blankets for cooler summer days, visitors can savour a chef-curated picnic menu crafted by Emily Scott Food. This delightful menu combines the finest, freshest dishes from local Cornish suppliers with the store’s signature picnic products.

Two picnic options are available, specially designed for two or four people. First, the “Seaside Picnic” presents crab sandwiches with summer tomatoes paired with shallots & basil, complemented by an array of delectable treats like fig leaf soft serve ice cream, Cornish Cheddar Truckle, and Fortnum’s Honey & Sauternes Savour, all accompanied by the refreshing Fortnum & Mason Sparkling Tea.
