Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has officially entered the Japanese market with the grand opening of Fairmont Tokyo, a striking new flagship that occupies the top nine floors of the BLUE FRONT SHIBAURA Tower South development. Bringing the brand’s signature blend of heritage, artistry and elevated hospitality to Japan’s capital, the launch was marked with a ribbon-tying ceremony on 1st July 2025.
With a coveted location just minutes from Tokyo Station, Shinagawa and Haneda Airport, and overlooking both the Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay, Fairmont Tokyo is designed as a modern sanctuary above the bustle. The interiors, by renowned design studio BAR Studio, channel a refined, contemporary Japanese aesthetic, enriched with curated artwork and references to traditional crafts like Kintsugi and weaving.
