The newly launched Never Say Die Rye Whiskey (70cl, 52.5% ABV, RRP £64.95) presents a pioneering approach in whiskey making. Deviating from the traditional sour mash method predominant in Kentucky, this rye whiskey employs a sweet mash process. Its unique mash bill comprises 56% rye, 33% corn, and 11% malted barley, resulting in a harmonious blend of punchy spices and buttery richness, crowned with zesty citrus and fresh green herbs.

Trans-Atlantic Aging: A Unique Process

Echoing the award-winning aging technique of its bourbons, Never Say Die Rye undergoes an exceptional trans-Atlantic maturation. Originating in Kentucky, the whiskey travels in its original casks to the UK, where it undergoes a second maturation at White Peak Distillery in Derbyshire. This journey, encompassing varied climatic conditions and the agitation of the ocean voyage imbues the whiskey with a distinctive flavour profile, maturing it beyond its years.

Sustainable and Flavourful Production

Never Say Die Rye Whiskey is not only a marvel in taste but also in its production process. Utilising an innovative infusion mash technique, it achieves superior energy efficiency and a balanced, flavorful distillate. The whiskey is column distilled using a chemical-free steam boiler and aged in new, air-dried #4 char barrels for a minimum of five years.
