This month (July 2026) Brown’s Hotel (read our hotel review here) and Paul Smith announce the opening of the Paul Smith Grand Suite, a new three-bedroom residence-style suite at the iconic Mayfair, London hotel.
The collaboration between the landmark hotel and the celebrated designer is a tribute to British creativity, craftsmanship and style, characteristics evident in every detail of the new luxury residence.
A flowing combination of Paul Smith’s Signature Stripes, bold colour palette, and playful sophistication is combined with finishing touches reflective of British heritage to create an individual contemporary design. Design highlights include curtains lined with the iconic Paul Smith stripes, inspired by tailored suit linings and tied back using genuine Paul Smith ties. To further enhance the creative British collaboration rugs from The Rug Company, hand-painted Signature Stripe porcelain lamps by Lyngard, commissioned ceramics by Charlotte Salt and Elaine King, bespoke glassware by Emsie Sharp and Stewart Hearn, and Scottish Harris Tweed fabrics form part of the suite design.
Admirers of the renowned British designer will also recognise Sir Paul Smith’s’magpie’ collecting style throughout the suite, with an eclectic collection of English antiques, vintage Japanese screen prints, a vintage model yacht refitted with sails made from Paul Smith shirt fabrics, and distinctive bronze banana door handles adding depth and detail.
Expanding upon the much-admired Sir Paul Smith Suite, the Grand Suite reimagines the accommodation as an expansive three-bedroom private residence-style suite, connected by its own dedicated Paul Smith hallway. Created in collaboration with Olga Polizzi, Director of Design at Rocco Forte Hotels, it extends the warmth and character of the original suite across two additional bedrooms, creating a seamless and immersive guest experience.
