On the rooftop, you’ll find the panoramic Pool Terrace and EAVE, an indoor-outdoor poolside restaurant and bar, open throughout the day and showcasing the flavours of South Africa. The hotel itself was designed by Neri&Hu in collaboration with Cape Town-based architects and professional firms with the aim of paying homage to the warehouse structures that previously occupied the site. Using more than six million hand-laid bricks to create a distinctive architectural identity to match the originality of each EDITION hotel. The Cape Town EDITION’s most notable feature is The Drum, an open-air cylindrical structure inviting in the elements and providing a platform for guests to view the landmarks of the city from a new perspective.
