The much-anticipated Mondrian Ibiza, a striking 154-room design-led hotel, has officially opened its doors for the 2024 season. Located in the serene natural port of Cala Llonga, this sophisticated retreat offers a blend of cosmopolitan style and stunning natural beauty, making it a must-visit destination on the White Isle.
Architectural Marvel in a Dream-Like Setting
Designed by Beades Architects and Cuarto Interior, Mondrian Ibiza seamlessly integrates the island’s unique topography with avant-garde design. The hotel’s layout encourages a sensory journey from the moment of arrival, with large glass windows and curated artworks by London-based collective Gone Rogue, enhancing the connection between indoor luxury and the lush outdoors. The featured pieces include ‘ASH’ by Corine van Voorbergen and ‘Kissing of the Sun and the Moon’ by Lauren Baker, each echoing Ibiza’s celestial beauty.
Refined Simplicity in Every Room
The guest rooms at Mondrian Ibiza are a testament to refined simplicity, with decor inspired by local elements such as wood, leather, and linen. Signature design elements, like the intertwined natural leather webbing headboards, pay homage to traditional Balearic furnishings. Options range from Forest View Studios to luxurious Sea-view suites, with the crowning jewel being the Mondrian Panoramic Seaview Suite, boasting a sprawling wrap-around balcony.

A Culinary Journey
The hotel introduces two exciting dining venues this season. Niko, Cala Llonga’s debut Japanese restaurant, offers a blend of Japanese and Mediterranean culinary styles in a space crafted by Cuarto Interior. The sushi bar features a stunning natural stone countertop adorned with artwork by Esther Rosa. Sonrojo offers a more relaxed beachside atmosphere, serving classic Spanish dishes to the rhythm of Balearic beats.
Leisure and More
Beyond its luxurious accommodations and dining options, Mondrian Ibiza features a diverse array of amenities. The Perq, a hybrid coffee bar and local marketplace, introduces a metropolitan coffee culture to the island. Meanwhile, the all-day bar Sun & Moon, poolside bar Bungalow, and Mexican restaurant Cuyo provide a variety of casual dining and entertainment options. Families can enjoy a dedicated indoor playground and a kids’ pool, ensuring fun for all ages.
Connect with Nature
Mondrian also offers unique experiences to connect with the natural beauty of Ibiza, including guided hikes by Balearic Outdoor Adventures and a boat dock with public ferry access for exploring nearby locales like Ibiza Town and Formentera.
