Nobu Hospitality, one of the world’s most renowned lifestyle brands, is delighted to announce the launch of its first hotel and a second restaurant in Italy – both are expected to debut in Summer 2022.
Founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper, with operations spanning five continents, the Nobu brand thrives in the world’s capitals as the ultimate destination lifestyle experience and the new venture in Rome is an exciting addition to the brand’s portfolio.
Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Roma is a collaboration between Carlo Acampora, Chairman and CEO Grand Hotel Via Veneto, and Nobu Hospitality will lead the transformation of the luxurious Grand Hotel into a Nobu Hotel and Restaurant.
The luxury hotel and restaurant will proudly be located on the exclusive Via Veneto, offering guests easy access to the stunning park of Villa Borghese, Piazza Barberini, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza di Spagna, all in the historic heart of Rome.

The transformation and union of two 19th Century buildings will create a place that celebrates its grand, historic past whilst also offering guests an integrated mix of a luxurious hotel and energized living spaces. The hotel will comprise 122 guest rooms and suites, including a 500sqm Nobu Suite, a spectacular green-rooftop terrace, indoor and outdoor meeting space, a full-service city spa, state-of-the-art fitness centre, a Nobu Restaurant offering 24-hour in-room dining and an exclusive club lounge for enjoying world-class music. The guest experience will be at the heart of both Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Roma with operations taking an eco-friendly and sustainable approach.
