VP Plaza Espana Design Hotel, Madrid, unveils Festive Events

The five-star property debuts upscale dinner menus, live music and special programming for the festive season

With Christmas and New Year’s season around the corner, the luxurious VP Plaza España Design invites travellers and Madrid locals to indulge in the holiday spirit at the five-star 214 room property located in the heart of the Spanish capital. The hotel unveils four sumptuous Christmas and New Year’s Eve gastronomic offerings, live concerts at Ginkgo Sky Bar, special discounts and much more,.

On the night before Christmas, VP Plaza España Design will host a lavish dinner serving Spanish delicacies including Iberian ham and boletus mushroom and truffle croquettes for the table. For main dishes, guests can indulge in foie escalope with pumpkin, tangerine gel and crispy sunflower seed candy, wild sea bass with roasted cauliflower cream and green asparagus head and suckling pig confit, roasted sweet potatoes and muscatel reduction. For the sweet tooth there will be caramelized pear tarte in red wine with toffee mousse amongst other desserts! The dinner will be priced at 99 euros per person and a special menu for kids will be provided.

On Christmas Day, travellers will be able to enjoy a memorable dinner at Ginkgo Restaurant and Skybar while enjoying breathtaking city views, live music and specialty drinks. Dishes to share comprise of Sorlut no.2 oysters with chipotle and ponzu sauce, Iberian ham with tomato-rubbed Cristal bread, chicken gyozas with sweet chili sauce and salmon sashimi on crispy rice and kimuchi. Main dishes include sea bass marinated in miso with wild asparagus and toasted almonds and beef tenderloin tataki with sesame. The dinner will be priced at 110 euros per person and there will also be a special menu for kids.

To ring in the new year, VP Plaza España Design will host two special dinners at the hotel. For a quieter night in style, a dinner will be served in the main reception hall including dishes such as Sorlut no.2 oysters, Siberian Baerii Caviar, Beef Wellington with truffle and mushroom sauce and more. For a livelier atmosphere, a second dinner will be hosted at the luxurious Ginkgo Restaurant and Skybar complete with 360 degree city views, a live DJ session, Spanish lucky grapes for each stroke of midnight and an open bar. The five-star dinner consists of flame roasted king crab with yuzu foam, roasted lobster with noisette butter, shallots and toasted ginger, aged beef tenderloin with mini mushrooms and soy-honey emulsion. The dinner will be priced at 400 euros  per person, including an open bar and access to the after party.

The five-star property will offer guests waiting for the clock to strike midnight the most memorable New Year’s Eve party in Madrid held at Ginkgo Sky Bar from 12:30 a.m. to 5 a.m. Complete with a welcome party bag, an open bar serving premium brands, an unforgettable live concert & DJ session, late-night snacks including churros, mini beef burgers with truffle mayonnaise and more! The extravagant party will be priced at 120 euros per person.
